Toronto Plays Hockey for Food!

What does 100 participants, two rinks and awesome attitudes equal? Well, how about 6,000 pounds of food for the Daily Bread Food Bank sound!

On Thursday, July 12^th 2012, in the heart of the city - Young – Dundas Square, Five Hole for Food invited hockey players and volunteers to play hockey in exchange for a  donation of a canned food item, which went  to the Daily Bread Food Bank.  People gathered to play, watch and donate food for the cause; despite the hot weather!
